What are you seeking?

Noticing you're out of balance is key to creating the life you long for.

Welcome, I'm Linda.

If you are feeling out of balance - with your relationship, a life stage or transition and trying to manage strong emotions like anxiety, depression, grief - you've come to the right place.

I'm a psychotherapist who will listen as we co-create a trusted relationship where we examine patterns that no longer serve you, their origin, and how to transform them with the help of proven therapies.

In my work with so many people struggling with challenging situations, I have learned that balance is not an achievement, but is cultivated and maintained - requiring attention and adjustment to restore equilibrium and fully engage in the life you're longing for.

I help patients navigate life's challenges.

Coping with Transitions

I partner with patients to manage the myriad emotions - such as anxiety, fear, stress, and depression - related to important or difficult life transitions and begin to feel grounded amidst uncertainties.

Struggling to Parent

I support parents in examining their feelings, values, beliefs, and practices in raising their children. We might begin during a crisis or challenge but could also work together through a developmental stage.

Anxiety

Be it navigating social or professional situations, approaching milestones, adapting through change or intimacy, we can shift the worry that you are carrying to be lighter and allow you to feel present, even joyful.

Healing from Trauma

I navigate the healing journey related to traumatic life events such as accidents, disasters, or violence whether the symptoms present as anxiety, depression, anger or other challenging emotions.

Depression

The weight of depression can come on suddenly due to biological or social-emotional factors and leave you feeling lonely, sad, even worthless. We can help you learn to ease distress and have a more hopeful, positive outlook as you heal.

Enhancing Relationships

I facilitate exploration of what limits or strengthens your ways of relating - whether in a romantic relationship or with friends, family, or colleagues - so you can lower barriers to empathy and increase intimacy & connection.

Befriending Grief

I aid patients as they engage with the pain of illness, death, and loss and manage all levels of severity in their emotions.

Aging Vibrantly

I assist patients as they embrace wisdom and experience to help them adapt through aging with resilience, while cultivating gratitude and purpose.

What patients say

The work changes things.

We were really struggling when our daughter wouldn't stay at school. It seemed like she was sick all the time and we felt so bad for her. After seeing multiple doctors and another therapist, Linda has helped us learn skills for how to best support K and she's only missed one day this entire year!

A few things people often ask.

I am an out-of-network provider. This means I do not accept insurance directly, but can provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
With telehealth, we can meet anywhere that is private and convenient for you. I also offer limited in-person sessions in Westchester County, New York. We will discuss your needs during our initial consultation.
Yes. Research demonstrates that telehealth is equally effective for most conditions. Most important in successful therapy is the relationship between the patient and the therapist. We will use our consultation to answer questions so you can decide if we’re a fit.
